Cinematic Puzzle Dioramas

The La La Land LEGO Ideas Project Recreates the Film’s Iconic Poster

LEGO Ideas builder TesrYer has created a diorama based on the well-known La La Land poster featuring Mia and Sebastian dancing above the lights of Los Angeles. The build recreates the scene through a layered backdrop of dark blue, purple, and black elements arranged to suggest both rolling hills and a night sky. A streetlamp constructed from white and translucent pieces anchors the composition, while stacked dark tiles below represent the cityscape. The display focuses on a single cinematic moment rather than a broader recreation of the film, translating the poster’s composition into a compact LEGO format.

The project includes minifigures representing Mia and Sebastian, with Mia wearing her yellow dress and Sebastian depicted in a white shirt and black tie. TesrYer uses overlapping round plates and dish elements in varying sizes to create depth and texture across the background.
