The June 2026 robots trends span the home and the wider world, as smarter, softer, and more capable machines move from novelty to everyday utility.
At home, the category is diversifying fast with screen-aware desktop assistants, cuddly companions, roving home robots that recognise both people and pets, and software-updated humanoids capable of completing complex domestic tasks. For example, Figure taught its general-purpose humanoid Figure 03 robot to open doors with whole-body coordination, grasp a chair and tuck it under a desk, and operate a trash can foot pedal with single-leg balance.
