The Paisley pattern may not be a print for everyone, but it is most definitely a colorfully and aesthetically bold print.

A kidney-shaped pattern most frequently used in India and originating in Iran, the English name was oddly derived from the town of Paisley located in central Scotland. Though the pattern is traditionally more associated with a boho-chic aesthetic, paisley seems to be making a comeback in the fashion world. When paired right, it can give off a very elegant and classic feel. For example, if the print was placed on a button-up shirt or a well-tailored suit, the results look anything but bohemian.

Though I do not advise wearing an all-paisley pattern ensemble, one paisley piece paired with more demure colors would look absolutely dashing.
