Coastal-Inspired Wallpapers

The Calico Shells, Shimmer & Seafoam wallpaper collection brings serene ocean motifs to interior walls. Designed around three patterns—Lucine, Abalone, and Coralline—the series uses pearlescent finishes, shell textures, and soft gradients to evoke the feeling of coastal light and movement. Each print was crafted from real abalone and coral fragments arranged into collaged compositions and scaled into full-size wallcoverings.

Cope notes, “I was originally inspired by my quiet ritual of wandering the shoreline, collecting shells and treasures washed in by the tide. I’m so touched by the idea that each shell has a story to tell and is a fragment of something greater. To collect them is to gather whispers of the ocean, remnants of unseen journeys.”

Lucine reflects watery surfaces in tonal shifts, Abalone captures wave motion and natural grooves, and Coralline mimics reef formations through painterly detail. All three are offered in layered marine colorways like Seaglass, Marsh, Urchin, and Nautilus. The result is a calming, sculptural surface that softens space while referencing the natural world—ideal for designers aiming to add texture and tranquility through artful material storytelling.
