Gathering-Encouraged Playful Poufs

Kusheda Mensah Designs the Palma Pouf for Hem

Kusheda Mensah designed the Palma Pouf for Hem specifically to garner a sense of communication and gathering amongst users. The color palette used is meant to be approachable while also creating a bright feeling to it as well. The poufs were unveiled as a part of 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen and it boasts a welcoming silhouette.

This contrasts the traditional pieces of furniture. It has a rounded and bulbous shape and then furhter softened by the wide selection of upholstery. There are two, three, or five elements that make up the poufs and extend outward to its central shape. These range from a palm front abstract shape, a hand, or a paw, recalling influences from nature.
