Fired Earth and Nina Campbell Debut a Regionally-Inspired Collection

— July 15, 2025 — Art & Design
Nina Campbell introduces a new collaboration with Fired Earth, delivering a selection of tiles inspired by the designer's love for India's coastal regions. The series features Udaipur, Goa, and Cochin, each reflecting a distinct design narrative. Udaipur showcases elegant cartouche patterns created using traditional resist techniques. Goa draws from Portuguese-influenced architecture, incorporating quatrefoil motifs framed by delicate foliage. Cochin revives an archival design with embroidered petal shapes enclosed in ornamental frames.

True to Nina Campbell’s design ethos, each tile originates as a hand-painted artwork in her studio. These designs are then brought to life by Fired Earth through expert craftsmanship, combining premium raw materials with advanced production methods to preserve the depth, brushwork, and texture of the originals.

“The Indian influences, with hand-painted details, give the tiles a more natural, crafted feel. Fired Earth’s expertise in tile production meant we could achieve the painterly quality that is central to this collection,” shared Campbell.
