McQueen’s Spring 2025 Ad Campaign Embraces Irish Folklore

McQueen’s Spring 2025 ad campaign was photographed and directed by Glen Luchford. The aesthetic and narrative of the marketing strategy boldly draw inspiration from the banshee, a figure deeply rooted in Irish folklore and the brand’s heritage. Creative Director Seán McGirr reimagines the banshee as a symbol of bold self-expression and connection. In doing so, he balances strength and vulnerability, which are also juxtaposed in the material and cut composition of the silhouettes.

McQueen’s Spring 2025 capsule showcases sharp, avant-garde tailoring paired with delicate fabrics like cobweb lace, pleated chiffon, and shredded silk organza. A muted palette of ivory, silvered gray, and black is punctuated by vibrant accents of yellow and orange, while sculptural accessories and lore-inspired jewelry complete the ethereal yet powerful aesthetic.

The intricate craftsmanship and unique fabric combinations highlight McQueen’s commitment to innovation and luxury.
