From powerful urban scooters to discounted rideshare campaigns, this list of 2018 transportation innovations highlights that companies aren't afraid to get creative when it comes to getting consumer from point A to point B.

There's no shortage of green transportation methods to help the eco-conscious consumer get to where they need to be. Some highlights include Omer Sagiv's 3D-printed bicycle or the 'WAU' eBike, which offers up to 100km of range per Charge. On a similar note, rideshare companies launched innovate campaigns to be more accessible and convenient than ever. Standouts include Lyft's timely discounts, which offered half-priced rides during the 2018 midterms to help people make it to the polls.

The automotive industry also saw some impressive vehicle releases this year, like the The Mercedes EQC SUV, a quick-charge luxury vehicle, or the Torsus Praetorian, an off-road adventure bus.
