Since Icarus, birds have been inspiring humans to great heights. Bird architecture is always interesting, and bird-inspired home decor is often whimsical and fun.
Check out these bird-ovations. My favorites include the birdhouse designed to stick out of a penthouse window and the waterfowl sink. They’re birdalicious.
Implications - The concept of flight is fascinating because it suggests freedom to escape at a whim. This is an especially attractive aspect for consumers living in today's chaotic society filled with mutli-tasking, tight schedules and video conferences from home. Thus, birds and wings are influencing all industries, from fashion to automotive and art and design in hopes of emulating the same free spirit.
