I love this collection of sophisticated and feminine feather hats handcrafted by Italian partnership Fiori e Fiamme. I can’t wait to see more and more women venture out with head wear like this.
Back in the 30s and 40s, hats were a perfectly normal part of any woman’s wardrobe, but through the decades it is fair to say that, sadly, wearing fun, eccentric and flattering hats has been replaced by caps and dreadlocks.
These hats are made to measure and sold in exclusive boutiques in Italy. I got the pictures courtesy of the artist, Fiametta Penazzi who, besides hat-making, also designs the most amazing bags and accessories.
