Berlin is quickly becoming a hotbed of fashion, art and innovation. From the Viral Video Awards and the Popkomm IMEA awards to Berlin Fashion Week, Berlin has played host to a number of illustrious global events.
Metallica celebrated the release of their new album 'Death Magnetic' with a tour date in the city of Berlin. And Berlin was a place of great inspiration for David Bowie in the 1970s, and British rock band Bloc Party has close ties with Berlin.
