The Brooklyn Loft Revamp blends industrial heritage with playful custom design. Located in a century-old manufacturing building, the 1,700 sq ft loft by Batliboi Studio for Elizabeth Arden’s Valerie Tsvetkova retains exposed timber beams and steel joints uncovered during renovation. A centralized utility layout and subtle floor lifts enabled seamless kitchen integration, featuring stainless steel counters, brass fixtures, natural stone, and refined flat-pack cabinetry tailored for built-in appeal.
The loft features a standout 15-ft green CNC-milled sculptural shelf that doubles as a sideboard and art piece. Throughout, finishes mix moody black zellige tile, brass accents, marble, penny tiles, and light wood flooring. Batliboi’s playful interventions—layered textures, custom millwork, and thoughtful space planning—honor the building’s raw bones while introducing warmth, personality, and modern functionality. The result feels both authentic and delightfully lived-in.
