Flip-N-Fry in Berlin Uses Vibrant Colour as Its Core Design Theme

Flip-N-Fry in Berlin uses vibrant colour as its core design language by limiting the palette to saturated yellows, reds and blues that appear across walls, seating and millwork. The design by Bruzkus Greenberg occupies a landmark ground-floor site and opens directly onto the street with large glazing that brings daylight into the dining area.

A former entry bay is reworked into a seating niche with a pendant fixture that anchors the front of the space. The stained wood panelling maintains visible grain to avoid a flat finish and adds warmth to balance the strong primary tones. The banquettes combine stainless steel framing with dyed wood veneer and durable upholstery to create seating suited to high-traffic use.

A terracotta ceiling defines the service zone while a deep blue corridor leads to the restrooms and contrasts with checkerboard tile flooring. The lighting strategy uses linear LEDs and geometric fixtures to unify the interior and highlight the colour sequences that structure the layout.
