The redesign draws visual cues from the hotel’s location beside the Berlin Zoo, integrating playful animal prints, recycled elements, and lush greenery to soften the building’s brutalist architecture and bring warmth to the industrial shell.
Guest rooms and public areas feature a bold mix of vintage and custom-made pieces, along with curated art and textiles that create an inviting, lived-in atmosphere. Splashes of mustard, teal, and terracotta balance exposed concrete and raw wood, highlighting the contrast between softness and structure.
