100 New York Fashion Week Performances

From Prim and Preppy Runways to Fair Trade Apparel

— October 6, 2012 — Eco
These New York Fashion performances provide a couture overview of the star studded shows. The event has long been essential to the work of magazines, photographers and editors who flock annually to the city's streets in droves.

Prim and preppy runways and fair trade apparel have been central to productions orchestrated by Richard Chai and Edun. Shows put on by Chanel, Diane Von Furstenberg and Louis Vuitton are often among the most hotly anticipated as the posh world awaits the vision and spirit of their trendsetting lines.

Dainty dominatrix designs and minimalist maven apparel have struck a chord among past observers. And while these exhibits have all been applauded, far more remains to be seen from the world's top tailors.
