While New York Fashion Week is usually more about streamlined silhouettes and chic fashion that screams (and means) business, the Erin Fetherston Fall 2012 collection lets go of all that and brings a whimsical feel to fashion week.
Fetherston was inspired by the work of artist Barry Underwood and describes her fall offering to Style.com as a "new-age fairy tale." The Erin Fetherston Fall 2012 collection is made up of mostly dresses, with only two pairs of pants appearing in the entire line. This is definitely one for the girly girls.
Fetherston told Fashionista, "that’s what I’m all about–I’m about having fun, getting dressed up, you know, the joy of it. And i think being able to make beautiful clothes at an easier price point puts the fun back into it."
