As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing safety measures, brands are recreating in-person experiences through virtual means -- whether launching marketing initiatives that call for at-home consumer participation or hosting events that are experienced virtually and through partnering platforms.
Standouts include Saladworks' 30-day wellness challenge that was launched to fans of the QSR chain in May and in celebration of National Salad Month. The challenge featured "themes, activities and community resources to connect health-oriented individuals" who seek ways to stay active while indoors. Fever's interactive 'Death by Chocolate' murder mystery game and Fever and Stone Candle Bar's DIY candle making virtual workshops round off this list, with the latter example showing candle lovers how to make their own wax creation at home and for a fraction of the price.
