While the past few years have seen the rapid rise of plant-based meat alternatives, now there seems to be a movement to add more plant-based ingredients to an even wider range of products. For instance, Rogue is a new cereal brand made from plant-powered ingredients like rice flour, chickpea flour, corn grits, and sugarcane syrup. On the other hand, the Fruit Factory Fruit Twists kids snack gives kids a delicious new way to sample fruits like blackcurrant.
Of course, with so many new plant-based products on the market, the August 2022 food trends reveal that many brands are going the extra mile to stand out.
