Implications - Consumers are more empowered than ever to speak out about their differences and in turn, they have greater expectations of the brands they follow to echo this messaging and celebrate what makes them unique individuals. While some brands choose to pick an individual cause such as race, gender or sexuality, many are becoming aware of the importance of embracing intersectionality to truly be inclusive.
