One example comes from Aquatrend, with the brand's UV toothbrush holder said to sanitize as it stores, with the powerful UV light working to destroy germs and bacteria. In addition, the toothbrush holder is outfitted with a built-in dryer, which helps to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria.

Another health-focused tech innovation is the Pocket Sky glasses, which won the 2019 Red Dot Design Award. The glasses are positioned over the eyes to boost the energy of the wearer within a 20 minute session using light therapy. The light is set to a low brightness and hits in between the eyes to avoid any discomfort, and can easily be packed away for use on the go.
