Art-Tech Zine Collaborations

twentynine zine Turns AI Nostalgia to Art Using Yoga 9i Aura Edition

The twentynine project is a surreal, 2000s-inspired mini magazine and exhibition created by digital artist Maya Man and designer Isabella Lalonde. Co-produced with Lenovo and Intel, the project draws from early teen zines like Seventeen and Delia’s, blending playful AI-generated imagery, influencer satire, and tactile fashion vibes into a printed experience. The Yoga 9i Aura Edition powered the creative process with Smart Share for seamless visual transfers and powerful Intel Core Ultra processing that kept layouts flowing smoothly.

The physical zine doubles as a gallery and features plush doll sculptures made from AI-printed fabric, alongside a performative silent “magazine signing” and interactive wall works. It underlines how technology can expand artistic vision, not replace it, turning glitches and imperfections into conceptual statements about identity, nostalgia, and creative control.
