The Phone Toaster is a bedside smartphone charger designed to combine wireless charging with ultraviolet light sanitisation. The device features a vertical slot where a phone is inserted upright, allowing UV-C light to expose the phone’s surface while it charges overnight. A built-in clock display is positioned on the front of the unit, providing time visibility without requiring the phone screen to be active.
The housing is constructed with a compact rectangular form and includes a manual slider mechanism that raises the phone slightly when charging is complete. Internal UV lighting operates while the phone is docked, and charging occurs through a wireless interface compatible with supported smartphones. Control buttons are located on the top surface for clock and alarm functions. The device is designed for placement on bedside tables and is offered in multiple colour finishes applied across the casing.
