Mitsubishi recently released an electric bread oven that is designed to provide consumers with impeccably toasted toast. The Japanese manufacturer focuses on quality, with a smidge of convenience. The high-end toaster has the capacity to only heat up one slice at a time, however, it does so with incredible precision. Thanks to the all-encompassing technology, the electric bread oven is able to toast its contents at a temperature that can reach 500° Fahrenheit. The appliance "transfers heat via two plates sandwiching [...] the slice." The end result is said to deliver the taste of "freshly-baked bread" that isn't dried out.
In designing the electric bread oven, Mitsubishi referenced a survey by insights firm NRI Group that "Japanese people prefer bread over a traditional breakfast." The appliance is retailing for $270 USD.
