The 'FlyKart2' from Trek Aerospace Provides Speedy Transport
Michael Hemsworth — May 2, 2019 — Autos
Flying taxi drones are being positioned as one of the many transportation options that will transform the urban consumer experience, but the conceptual 'FlyKart2' takes things in a slightly different direction. Offering space for a single person to be seated within, the vehicle will quickly transport them to their choice of location on their own terms. The manual controls on the flying drone vehicle enable drivers to live out their dreams of flying and is perfectly suited for users of all experience levels.
The conceptual 'FlyKart2' vehicle has been designed by Trek Aerospace as part of the GoFly competition and features a total of 10 ducted propellers. This allows the vehicle to reach a top speed of 55kts, while cruising speeds are set at 45kts with power for 30 minutes of flight.
