The conceptual Motorola Activa is an Internet of Things (IoT) device for pet owners that will provide them with a way to keep an eye on their dog and ensure its wellbeing. Designed by Sebastien Sauvage for Motorola Mobility LLC, the device works by being attached onto the collar of a dog and enabling owners to set a geo-fence to let them know if they get out of the house or lost. The built-in GPS works to provide accurate location tracking, while a temperature sensor will let owners know if their dog is too hot or cold to prevent exposure-related problems.
