The 'Robo Firefly' Has a Miniature Design and Functionality

— May 17, 2019 — Tech
The 'Robo Firefly' is positioned as the first insect-like consumer drone that will provide hobbyists with a way to take to the sky in a naturalistic manner. Outfitted with wings just like an insect, the drone doesn't create a lot of noise when it takes to the sky and features built-in strobe lights that will create a visual experience for users to admire when used after dark. The wings flap 25 times per second in order to create lift and is capable of reaching a top speed of 12.5mph when in flight.

The 'Robo Firefly' drone weighs just 20 grams and connects wirelessly to a smartphone to allow for seamless flying capabilities. The device features a range of 100 meters to let users fly without feeling restricted.
