L’Oréal Group Launches a New Straightener with Enhanced Technologies

At CES, L’Oréal Group officially announced two new beauty innovations: an LED eye mask and the Light Straight + Multi-styler, a next-generation hairstyling device recognized as a CES 2026 Innovation Award honoree.

Developed by L’Oréal Research & Innovation over seven years and validated through testing with 1,000 participants, the Light Straight + Multi-styler introduces patented infrared light technology designed to deliver high-performance styling at reduced heat levels. By maintaining temperatures below 320°F, the device helps minimize heat-related hair damage while achieving professional-grade results. Its glass plate design enables effective straightening at significantly lower temperatures than conventional tools.

Instrumental testing conducted by L’Oréal indicates the device delivers styling results up to three times faster and produces hair that is twice as smooth when compared with leading premium competitors.

“At L’Oréal, we’ve always believed that beauty is deeply connected to scientific discovery,” said Barbara Lavernos, deputy CEO in charge of Research Innovation and Technology at L’Oréal Groupe. “This year, our pioneering advancements in light technologies at CES 2026 once again demonstrate our commitment to pushing the boundaries of new beauty solutions."
