While a recent Staples partnership with Instacart offers fast, same-day delivery to consumers from the office supply retailer -- with over 1000 locations across the United States participating -- e-commerce giant Amazon is looking to alleviate stress among its staff with an interactive game for employees. The gamified warehouse experience requires employees to participate in virtual challenges and aims to enhance efficiency while reducing anxiety.
Other July 2020 market trends to note include Verizon's recent three year e-sports deal with League of Legends as the team's main 5G network provider, along with Panasonic's partnership with PodID that will "enable restaurant guests to pay for their orders at drive-thrus and kiosks using their face."
