Delivery Personnel Smart Glasses

Amazon is Developing Smart Delivery Glasses for Associates

Amazon has announced that it's developing smart delivery glasses to help its delivery personnel enjoy enhanced productivity, improve deliveries and more. The wearable system is positioned to give delivery drivers handsfree connectivity that would eliminate the need for them to interact with their phone or take their eyes off the road. The glasses would enable delivery personnel to scan packages, access turn-by-turn walking directions and even capture proof of delivery, all without the need for a smartphone.

The Amazon smart delivery glasses are hoped by the brand to help optimize the delivery experience for associates and subsequently shave time off the process. The glasses would be connected to a controller inside the user's vest that would feature operational controls, a battery pack that can be swapped out and an emergency button.
