Consumers now have the ability to sign up to beta-test Starlink Internet, when it becomes available. Elon Musk indicated through Twitter that consumers in Seattle and Germany will be thirst to get access to trials. Following a trial, the service will be available to consumers in North America. People can sign up for trials by providing a zipcode, where they will be sent an email if they are eligible.
Starlink is a company run by Elon Musk that looks to provide consumers with low-latency internet through a network of satellites created by SpaceX, which is also owned by Musk. The company launched 500 satellites this year to start the network, which is scheduled to be operational by the year 2021.
