October 9th marked the 72nd birthday of John Lennon, the legendary peace activist and Beatles superstar. Furthermore, on that same day, Lennon's late wife Yoko Ono presented Lady Gaga with the LennonOno Grant for Peace.

John along with his wife Yoko Ono were very passionate about peace activism. This collection of two fingered peace sign photos is inspired by John's dedication to world good. Though he had controversial methods and was sometimes criticized for his views, his vision for the world was one of peace, love and a bit of rock 'n' roll.
