Converting the statue of Red Army soldiers into a group of eclectic superheroes such as Superman, Robin and even Santa Claus and Ronald McDonald, Banksy of Bulgaria definitely seems to be commenting on Bulgaria's politics and government.
This monument, located in Sofia's town square, isn't the first to feel the wrath of graffiti artists such as Banksy of Bulgaria. With the tagline, "Moving with the times," scrawled underneath it, it appears that street artists are trying to bring Bulgaria into the 21st century.
