The August 2022 eco round-up definitely spotlights many vehicles and material innovations that will allow individuals to embrace more sustainable lifestyles in their day-to-day. For example, designers Lea Haats, Erik Mantz-Hansen, and Konstantin Wolf aimed to revolutionize public transport with the Abacus Electric Tram—a concept that was selected as one of the finalists for Dezeen's Future Mobility Competition powered by Arrival. Researchers at ETH Zurich, on the other hand, created HiRes Concrete Slab—a contoured ceiling designed to save on energy use.
