Business-Friendly Efficient Composting Technologies

Emerald Ecovations Partners with Octoen

Emerald Ecovations has formed a strategic alliance with Octoen, a manufacturer specializing in efficient composting technology, to provide businesses with an accelerated solution for converting food waste and compostable materials into fertilizer. The high-speed solution can reportedly complete the task within 12 to 24 hours.

The partnership integrates Emerald Ecovations’ plant-based foodservice products — such as compostable cutlery, containers, and tree-free paper goods — with Octoen’s decomposition technology, creating a closed-loop system that reduces landfill dependency while producing usable compost.

As part of this collaboration, Emerald Ecovations will serve as the exclusive U.S. distributor for Octoen’s compact, automated composting units, which are designed to handle organic waste from various sectors, including hospitality, corporate dining, and municipal facilities. Companies facing increasing regulatory pressure and public demand for sustainable waste management now have access to an on-site system that not only diverts organic waste from landfills but also generates a reusable byproduct.
