Electra, the sub-brand operating under Trek, announced the latest iteration in its line of city-focused 'Townie Go!' bikes, the 'Townie Go! 5i EQ.' This bike has a retro-inspired design with a curved center bar, 70s-style brown tires, a brown leather seat, brown hand grips on the handlebars, and a curved rear seat mount.
The bike eloquently incorporates its electric components into the design with a mounted motor and battery on the main frame above the 'Townie' branding. The pedals, gears, and spokes for this bike are adorned in metallic silver to create a premium, retro-inspired e-bike.
The Townie Go! 5i EQ boasts a 250W motor powered by a 400 Wh battery, which delivers top speeds of up to 32 kilometers per hour for a maximum range of approximately 60 kilometers.
