Templa's Biodegradable Down Jacket was Made with Allied Feather & Down

Luxury outerwear brand Templa is dedicating its new collection to sustainability. Through a collaboration with suppliers Allied Feather & Down and Active Apparel Group, Templa is set to become the first high-fashion label to offer a biodegradable down jacket.

This groundbreaking garment, the Hyperion jacket, has garnered attention for its eco-conscious design, with its prototype winning an ISPO Award last November. It's ready for commercial production and will be featured in Templa's Fall 2025 collection.

“This collaboration is really putting three pillar players together in a perfect triangle of challenging, investigating, pioneering, exploring this space of trying to be true and honest and authentic and real in pushing borders without compromising the design and the silhouette,” Templa’s commercial director Anati Rakocz said in an interview. “You don’t need to sacrifice silhouette and attitude and an aesthetic for the values you stand for.”
