A new and innovative electric scooter sharing system was recently put forth by design studio Unknown Untitled. The concept strives to provide a solution for the clutter that these accessible transportation vehicles have created in metropolitan cities around the world. Unknown Untitled submitted this proposal to Dezeen's Future Mobility Competition powered by Arrival.
The electric scooter sharing system is called Micro Mobility Shelter. Essentially, the proposal seeks to create a fusion between traditional means of public transportation—buses, for example—and contemporary mobility solutions like e-scooters. Scooters can be borrowed from and parked at bus shelters, meaning that there will be no need to leave these two-wheeled vehicles on the sidewalk. Unknown Untitled claims that its proposal will "increase flexibility and reduce the costs and responsibilities associated with vehicle ownership."
