The ZiGGY Robot can Hold a Parking Space and Recharge your Vehicle

'EV Safe Charge,' a battery charging solutions company, teamed up with 'Box Clever' to create what the team has named the 'ZiGGY robot.' This robot is a smart, mobile battery with wheels that it can use to drive itself automatically. The robots will be stored at designated home bases where they will be able to recharge from either solar energy, stored energy on the grid, or direct battery storage. The solar energy allows the ZiGGY to return to its home even if it ends up stranded outside.

To use the ZiGGY, customers can simply summon one via a mobile application. The robot can be summoned to a parking lot in advance, where it will try to find a space for the driver, or it can be summoned directly to the driver's location. Once a location is found and the car arrives, the ZiGGY will begin charging the vehicle with level 2 fast-charging, though the company stated that this will be upgraded to level 3 in the future.
