The Scootaround App is launching a trial of its Self-Activated mobility devices. The trial will be hosted at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Between July 10th and July 14th, the industry's first devices will be available at the venue space.
Users can book and activate the mobility devices via the Scootaround App. Those attending the convention will have to download the app on their phone prior to activating a device. Once downloaded, they will be able to scan a barcode on the self-activated mobility vehicle and fill out their booking details. Scootaround's mobility scooters and the WHILL power chairs will be available during the trial. The app provides users with on-demand mobility vehicle rentals.
