The solution maintains something of a hybrid design that combines the functionality of a wheelchair and a scooter to accommodate the needs of those with mobility limitations. The unit has a smartphone-connected design that can be summoned when required and has shifting armrests to enable easy access; the adjustable height functionality means better line of sight and access to counters or desks.

The 'GoSolo' personal mobility device is the design work of Alabaster Research and Technologies Private Limited in collaboration with Prem Shah, Kirti Khadia, Kishan Amin and Chintan Shinde.
