There's no doubt that 2021 men's fashion trends were particularly diverse and wide-ranging. It was a year marked equally by the launch of bespoke men's jewelry brands and sensationalized streetwear collabs, as it was by the comeback of the cardigan and the mainstream adoption of boxy shirts and baggy pants.
As a whole, the industry also appeared to begin seriously prioritizing sustainability. Major brands began implementing eco-friendly materials into their designs and many announced plans to reduce their production of harmful emissions and waste. As one example, Nike released the 'Air Zoom Alphafly Next Nature,' a highspeed running shoe made from 50% recycled material.
Interestingly, 2021 witnessed a notable rise in golf-inspired streetwear and vice-versa -- streetwear-inspired golfwear. For example, superstar rapper Drake officially unveiled his long-awaited golf apparel collection titled 'NOCTA x Nike Golf,' which leveraged a variety of subtly stylish urban design codes. Meanwhile, Bogey Boys launched its 'Holiday 2021' collection, giving a range of vintage golf apparel silhouettes a contemporary, street-ready upgrade.
