Top 100 Eco Trends in September

From Zero Waste Pizza Packaging to Reusable Mascara Tubes:

The September 2019 eco round-up showcases how designers are pushing the boundaries of material use and implementing new fabrication techniques.

While Danielle Coffey is pioneering a new soap-making method that uses fats and oils — by-products of cooking, as ingredients, Mi Zhou utilizes leftovers from the beer-brewing process to craft a usable alternative to leather. From lab-grown spider silk dresses to algae-based biodegradable t-shirts, there really is no shortage of creativity when it comes to developing planet-friendly materials.

The September 2019 eco trends also spotlight one of Trend Hunter's own initiatives. We have partnered with Trees.Org — a not-for-profit that focuses on reforestation and teaches farmers in Kenya sustainable practices. Through this on-going collaboration, Trend Hunter is donating 1,000,000 trees to Trees.Org's mission.
