Po-Zu Launched A Collection of Apple Skin Sneakers in Two Styles

— August 24, 2019 — Eco
Ethical and sustainable footwear brand Po-Zu recently relaunched two of its classic shoes -- the BUTTERFLY and the SNEAK -- in its new leather alternative material, Apple Skin.

This progressive fabric is made from the waste produced by the apple juice industry that is turned into a polyurethane mixture. By reusing this otherwise discarded resource, Po-Zu is able to close the apple cycle completely to create a non-toxic, sustainable, and cruelty-free leather. “I am passionate about creating footwear that is cruelty-free yet doesn’t come at the cost of our planet,” Sven Segal, Founder of Po-Zo stated.

As consumer habits shift towards sustainable products, brands like Po-Zo are leading the way to meet consumer demands in a functional and stylish way.
