This year saw an influx of luxurious travel options, such as luxe airline accommodations, luxury driverless sedans and comfortable luxury airline services. The vessels themselves were fancier then ever, including opulent party yachts, $100 million private jets and even lightweight designer bikes.

Architecture became lavish in location, like panoramic NYC apartments, submerged luxury homes and magical levitating beach houses. Expensive furniture focused more on design than function, as evidenced by carved lava couches, extravagant pet furniture and structural granite storage.
