Top 70 Eco Trends in July

It is always exciting to see what sort of sustainable innovations designers and brands come up with next and the July 2020 eco list gives us a keen glimpse into some of the latest examples.

In the category of upcycling, Amorepacific utilized empty cosmetic bottles and made a "first-of-its-kind terrazzo" using powder from these bottles to create a stylish bench that it plans to install in public facilities. The Healy Group, on the other hand, developed a sugar substitute called 'PrimaFI Cocoa.' The sweetener is made from finely ground discarded cocoa shells.

The July 2020 eco list also spotlights a few sustainable examples of biodegradation. Alba Cheese, for one, partners with BioGone to gain access to the company's proprietary wrap which is powered by an organic additive that speeds up biodegradation.
