Windex Offers a Multi-Surface Cleaner with Vinegar

— June 24, 2024 — Social Good
Windex® offers a Multi-Surface Cleaner with Vinegar in a bottle of 100% recovered coastal plastic. The plastic used in the bottle is collected on land within 50 km of an ocean and is part of the post-consumer recycled plastic. SC Johnson collaborates with Plastic Bank to ensure that 100% Recovered Coastal Plastic is used in specific bottles, helping to preserve our coastlines. This partnership also provides a new source of income for individuals living below the poverty line in communities struggling with large amounts of unmanaged plastic waste.

Windex® contributes to long-term sustainability by addressing environmental concerns. This approach potentially leads to a more robust business model with reduced reliance on new plastics and helps mitigate the impact of environmental regulations on the business.
