Not too long ago, at the end of April of this year, this comprehensive organization released 53 of their Fellowship Finalists, which is the impetus for these Echoing Green features. Echoing Green was founded in 1987 and continues to support social entrepreneurs in various stages of development.

From green energy upgrading companies to worksite information forums and incentive-based recycling programs, these Echoing Green features give you a taste of what kind of individuals and organizations Echoing Green is supporting and fostering. They're all different but essentially all attempt to use social innovation to address local and global problems -- whether those issues have to do with the environment, civil affairs, human rights, education, health care, public service, etc.
