Anthropic launched Claude Corps, a fellowship program that will place 1,000 early-career fellows in more than 400 nonprofit organizations, providing hands-on AI implementation support and training. Backed by a $150 million commitment, the initiative is designed to help mission-driven organizations adopt AI more effectively by embedding technical expertise directly within their teams.
Fellows will complete an intensive bootcamp before spending one year helping nonprofits integrate Claude into daily operations, improve services and build internal AI capabilities. Participating organizations will also receive a $10,000 grant, free Claude platform credits and ongoing technical support. Anthropic is partnering with nonprofit CodePath to recruit and prepare fellows for placements across sectors including education, public health and community development.
For nonprofits, the program offers practical AI expertise without expanding permanent technical staff, reflecting a broader trend of AI companies investing in workforce development to accelerate responsible AI adoption.
