American Nurses Foundation is Giving Out Mini-Grants

— November 25, 2025 — Business
The American Nurses Foundation has disclosed the allocation of five financial awards to Weisbrod Health in Eads, CO, Christian Health in Wyckoff, NJ, Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (with Dartmouth Health) in Bennington, VT, Wesley Pines Retirement Community (with Fayetteville State University) in Lumberton, NC, and Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA. The funding will enable these healthcare institutions to implement the 'Nurse Well-Being: Building Peer and Leadership Support program,' which focuses on supporting the mental and emotional health of nursing staff, into their operations.

These grants, each amounting to ten thousand dollars, are financially backed by the United Health Foundation and are designated for use within medical facilities located in non-urban areas or those providing long-term patient care. The initiative will see the recipients adopting a digital curriculum and related materials, which are available at no cost, by nurse-led teams who will customize the program for their local environments.
