Instruments are increasingly popular demands of modern consumers, from plastic instruments for virtual music compositions, to unique classic instruments that have been modified, like pianos and string instruments.

Games like Guitar Hero and Rockband could be to blame - or credit, depending on your music tastes - as they have sparked a new-found fascination with music in a generation that previously displayed no interest for composing or playing music.

That being said, an intrigue in classical music is still lacking among younger generations. That being said, the fact that youth are, quite literally, trying their hand at playing instruments, is a promising sign their interests are (slowly) extending beyond the couch and gaming controllers.
